Advent at OLM

Celebrate the Joy of Advent with Us!

As we enter the holy season of Advent, the Church invites us into a time of quiet expectation, hopeful longing, and joyful preparation for the coming of our Savior. These four weeks help us ready our hearts for the birth of Christ, deepening our prayer, renewing our faith, and awakening a spirit of watchfulness.

Throughout this blessed season, Our Lady of the Mountains offers many opportunities to grow in grace and draw closer to the Lord. We invite you to explore the Advent events, liturgies, devotions, and service opportunities listed below—and to journey with us as we prepare the way of the Lord.

Advent Prayer for the Family

Heavenly Father, your son, Jesus, is your greatest gift to us, a great sign of your love. Guide us as we strive to walk in that love together as a family this Advent. As we prepare our hearts for Christmas, bring us closer to each other and to your son. Give us the grace and strength we need every day. Help us to always trust in you. Come, Lord Jesus, lead all people closer to you. Come and dispel the darkness of our world with the light of your love. Amen.
