Family Faith Formation is an exciting opportunity for families to grow together in faith and life.  Each family will have a curated experience based upon the needs of the family.  Each family will have its own path, however all paths are the same journey to deepen understanding of our faith.


In this model parents are given the tools and ability to teach their children the Faith and connect, as a family, to the community. Hence, when signing up, please keep in mind that parents will be participating as well.  Families on similar paths will have opportunities to meet and work together through the year.

The Pathways program we are using is a very flexible and family friendly program designed to meet each family where they are in life and in their faith journey. It is modeled after the way in which Jesus met the two disciples as they journeyed to Emmaus in Luke 24:13-35.

First Time Voyagers on the Pathways...

All families new to Family Faith Formation.

Seek is a kerygmatic experience with 4 tracks: adults, parents, teens, and children, with age appropriate content for each. Over the course of 4 at-church Sessions participants will be invited on a journey to discover anew the good news of our faith by reflecting on the following themes or kerygma: Community, Creation, Redemption, and Relationship.

Root is a foundational catechetical experience focusing on the Creed for adults, parents, adolescence (14-18), pre-adolescence (11-13), and middle childhood (6-10), with age appropriate content for each. Over the course of 6 Family Meetings at-home, and 7 Sessions at-church, families will grow into a deeper understanding of our faith as they are led through the contents of the first part of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Sacramental Paths...

First Reconciliation

Make a way with Mend, a first Reconciliation family experience designed for middle childhood (6-10) aged children. Invite parents to reflect on their experience of Reconciliation and equip them to teach, share faith, and pray with their children. Families will encounter Jesus and experience the beauty of Reconciliation through hands-on activities and meaningful conversations.

First Communion

Make a way with Nourish, a first Communion family experience designed for middle childhood (6-10) aged children. Equips parents to teach, share faith, and pray with their children as they discover how the Mass relates to daily life. Families will encounter Jesus and experience the beauty of the Eucharist through a variety of hands-on activities and meaningful conversations.

Confirmation

Make a way with Zeal, a Confirmation family experience designed for middle childhood (6-10) and pre-adolescence (11-13) aged children. Led by their parents, children will grow in relationship with the Holy Spirit and a life of discipleship, through a variety of hands-on activities and meaningful conversations.

Continuing Formation Paths...

Make a way with Wonder, an ongoing formation experience for the entire family. Families will encounter the power of storytelling in the parables of Jesus through engaging their imaginations, hands-on activities, and meaningful conversations. Help families draw out the moral of each story and apply it to their daily lives. Watch the transforming stories of our faith come alive in the homes of families, with Wonder.

Make a way with Made, an ongoing formation experience for the entire family. Families will be encouraged to embrace their identity as male and female, made in the image of God. They will be given the framework of a positive anthropology, providing anchor points for building a deeper and richer understanding of the human person. Watch families be woven together through activities and conversations as they experience more meaningful relationships and deeper peace, with Made.
